From its birth in 1986 until today, Air Europa has experienced sustained growth. In 1998, it joined the Globalia group, leader in the tourism sector in Spain, of which it is still a part. In 2007, it joined the SkyTeam Alliance, guaranteeing its passengers a high standard in terms of safety and services.

The Air Europa fleet consists of 54 aircraft, with an average age of 4 years.
Medium-haul flights are operated by Embraer 195 and
Boeing 737-800. New 737-max aircraft are gradually entering the fleet.
The long-haul fleet is renewed with the arrival of 22 Boeing 787 Dreamliners by 2022, a latest generation aircraft offering a unique flight experience in both economy and business class. They currently operate destinations such as: Bogota, Santo Domingo, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Miami and Lima. Since March 2018, a first Dreamliner 787-900, with more capacity, has been incorporated on the Buenos Aires destination.
These Dreamliners complete the A330 fleet.

ON-BOARD ENTERTAINMENT:
Air Europa is launching a new entertainment system, accessible on the latest generation of individual screens. Passengers have access to a wide and diverse range of options:

– 30 classic movies
– 4 international movies
– 20 thematic programs
– 5 TV series (complete seasons)
– magazines
– audio
– games
– dynamic flight map.
This entertainment system is available on our Boeing 787-Dreamliner.
All our Airbus 330s have a free streaming service, which gives access to a selection of entertainment (films, games, dynamic flight map, etc.).
All the passenger has to do is download the “Air Europa On the air” application on their own mobile device (smartphone or tablet) before takeoff. During the flight, by activating airplane mode, they can connect to the “Ontheair” WiFi network to access the entertainment program.
On our medium-haul routes, three Boeing 737s also offer streaming. In 2018, three new aircraft will also benefit from it.
WIFI :
Air Europa has Wi-Fi on all its long-haul flights. Continue a conversation, connect to your favourite social networks, search the web or work: all this is now possible on board!
Three packages are available, for better adaptation to the needs of each passenger.
– Basic (30 Mb): ideal for sending emails
– Standard (60 Mb): enjoy a longer connection time!
– Premium (100 Mb): to work and have fun at 9,000 meters above sea level!
A 30Mb coupon will be offered to business class travelers.
On our medium-haul flights, three Boeing 737s also offer Wi-Fi. In 2018, three new aircraft will also benefit from it.
MENU :
New “healthy” menus are offered on board and served in more ecological containers.
In business class, meals reserve pride of place for organic ingredients.
Children have their own menu, which combines nutritional balance and attractive presentation.

On medium-haul flights, Air Europa’s Gusto+ menu offers a wide variety of dishes prepared on the same day. On each flight, we offer special promotions available at any time.
SUMA LOYALTY PROGRAM:
Air Europa offers its own loyalty program: SUMA.
Passengers earn Miles:
– when purchasing tickets for Air Europa or any other SkyTeam Alliance airline
* long-haul: 6 Miles per euro spent
* medium-haul: 5 Miles per euro spent
– when purchasing products and services from our partners.
They can be exchanged for:

Flying Blue members can also join the SUMA loyalty program.
