These two organisations showed that the country is not just about beaches and sunshine, but also offers a rich diversity of destinations and experiences, while making a firm commitment to a strategy of sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A stand committed to diversity and sustainability<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"250\" height=\"116\" src=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/20240918_164433-red.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-224332\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Visitors to the Brazilian stand were able to discover a wide range of themes: culture, gastronomy, nature, adventure, and Afro-tourism, an important area of development for the country. What really stood out was the commitment of the <strong>18 exhibitors<\/strong> present to promoting responsible tourism products. Among them, <strong>Foz do Igua\u00e7u, S\u00e3o Sebasti\u00e3o<\/strong> and <strong>Visit Rio<\/strong> were in the limelight, with a strong emphasis on environmental and cultural sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Strong growth in Brazilian tourism from France<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>France remains the main European market for tourism to Brazil. Between January and August 2024, Brazil welcomed <strong>44.5% more French visitors than the previous year<\/strong>, with a total of 129,794 travellers. At the IFTM, Embratur h<strong>ighlighted five key segments: Sun &amp; Beach, Culture, Gastronomy, Afro-tourism and Ecotourism &amp; Adventure<\/strong>. These areas reflect the country&#8217;s diverse offering, while emphasising sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <strong>Marcelo Freixo, president of Embratur<\/strong>, \u201c<em>Tourism can generate income while respecting the environment and social sustainability<\/em>.\u201d He added that European tourists will not only find a warm welcome in Brazil, but will also contribute to a sustainable tourism economy that values nature and local culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Immersive experiences and new products<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"578\" height=\"267\" src=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/20240918_164847-red.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-224330\" srcset=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/20240918_164847-red.jpg 578w, https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/20240918_164847-red-300x139.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 578px) 100vw, 578px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>During the three days of IFTM Top Resa, Embratur captivated visitors with immersive experiences such as \u201c<strong>Amaz\u00f4nia Viva<\/strong>\u201d, a virtual reality presentation offering a 360\u00ba panorama of the Tapaj\u00f3s river region. <strong>Cooking shows<\/strong> and a <strong>Caipirinha Master Class<\/strong> were also on offer, showcasing the country&#8217;s rich gastronomic heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From its stand in Paris, Embratur reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the promotion of Brazil in Europe, in line with the Federal Government&#8217;s desire to make the country a key player on the international stage. The strategy adopted is based on three fundamental pillars: <strong>sustainability, innovation and synergy<\/strong>, with particular emphasis on environmental, economic and social responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This promotional campaign, which was already launched in July to coincide with the opening of <a href=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/casa-brasil-2024-brazils-showcase-at-the-paris-olympic-games\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Casa Brasil during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games<\/a>, is perfectly in line with the slogan: \u201c<strong>Visit Brazil. You have everything to gain<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A New Route between Paris and Salvador de Bahia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the highlights of the show was <strong>the announcement of a new direct route between Paris and <a href=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/salvador-de-bahia-brazils-vibrant-mosaic\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Salvador de Bahia<\/a><\/strong>, operated by Air France from 28 October. This flight, which will be operated three times a week, will strengthen the links between France and Brazil, with already 230 monthly flights serving Rio de Janeiro, <a href=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/sao-paulo-metropolis-of-contrasts-and-cultural-capital-of-brazil\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">S\u00e3o Paulo<\/a> and Fortaleza.
