With more than <strong>255,000 visitors<\/strong>, including <strong>155,000 professionals<\/strong>, <strong>9,500 companies <\/strong>and <strong>156 countries represented<\/strong>, this 45\u1d49 edition made history, consolidating FITUR&#8217;s strategic role for the tourism industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pavilion 3 in the colours of Latin America<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pavilion 3<\/strong>, devoted to Latin America, was one of the most captivating areas of the show. Right from the start, the <strong>Mexican stand<\/strong>, with its giant screen showing spectacular landscapes, lucha libre shows and mariachi performances, was a real hit with visitors. Each Mexican state had its own space, packed with immersive activities, and the announcement of Mexico as an <strong>Associate Country of FITUR 2026 <\/strong>generated a great deal of excitement.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" src=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-01-25-at-10.29.50-2048x1366-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-233236\" style=\"width:259px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-01-25-at-10.29.50-2048x1366-1.jpg 800w, https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-01-25-at-10.29.50-2048x1366-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-01-25-at-10.29.50-2048x1366-1-768x513.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Brazil<\/strong>, this year&#8217;s Associate Country, impressed with its showcase of flagship destinations such as the <strong>Len\u00e7\u00f3is Maranhenses<\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/en\/curitiba-a-visionary-city-in-the-heart-of-parana\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Paran\u00e1<\/a> <\/strong>and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/en\/the-northeast-via-the-route-of-emotions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Route of Emotions<\/a><\/strong>. The stand, decorated with giant <em>barriletes <\/em>(traditional kites), was a captivating showcase for Guatemalan authenticity. The country presented an <strong>ambitious international agenda <\/strong>for 2025, highlighting emblematic destinations such as <strong>Patagonia <\/strong>and <strong>Atacama<\/strong>, while underlining its commitment to sustainable tourism and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Costa Rica: A successful participation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Costa Rica <\/strong>brought its participation in FITUR to a successful conclusion, highlighting its efforts towards sustainability and the protection of biodiversity. The delegation drew attention to its unique eco-tourism offerings and its initiatives to promote environmentally-friendly tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>High points and key collaborations<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Peru <\/strong>captivated with an inauguration on the theme of the <strong>Inti Raymi<\/strong>, while <strong>Colombia <\/strong>transported visitors into the magical world of Gabriel Garc\u00eda M\u00e1rquez, paying tribute to his masterpiece <em><a href=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/en\/one-hundred-years-of-solitude-on-netflix-a-portal-to-macondo-opens-on-11-december\/\">One Hundred Years of Solitude<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Dominican Republic<\/strong>, for its part, <strong>won the prize for best stand<\/strong>, thanks to its spectacular design and warm welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Santa Marta, in Colombia<\/strong>, celebrated its 500th anniversary with a new visual identity highlighting its historical and natural heritage. <strong>Panama <\/strong>presented an innovative offer designed to strengthen its presence in international markets, while the <strong>Caminos Andinos <\/strong>platform, launched by Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia, highlighted itineraries connecting the riches of the Andes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>FITURTechY and CIMET: Innovation and dialogue at the heart of discussions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>FITUR 2025 was not just a showcase for destinations: it was also a laboratory for <strong>technological innovation<\/strong>. <strong>FITURTechY <\/strong>explored the latest advances in artificial intelligence and sustainability in tourism, while the <strong>Ibero-American Conference of Tourism Ministers and Entrepreneurs (CIMET 2025<\/strong>) brought together 13 ministers from Latin America to boost tourism investment from Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Record success for an unforgettable edition<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With impressive figures and a palpable buzz, FITUR 2025 celebrated international collaboration, innovation and cultural diversity.
