This flight, which will then continue to Caracas, marks a turning point in connectivity between the Middle East and Latin America. <strong>Scheduled for June 2025<\/strong>, it will consolidate Bogot\u00e1 as the region&#8217;s leading air hub, and open up new prospects for tourism and trade. <\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A strategic announcement for Colombia and Venezuela<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The official Qatar Airways announcement was made in January 2025, following approval of the requested slots at the IATA world conference in November 2024. Colombia thus becomes the fourth South American country served by the airline, after Brazil, Argentina and Peru. <\/p>\n\n<p>This arrival marks a turning point for the country, which now welcomes <strong>24 foreign airlines<\/strong>, reinforcing its role as a gateway to Latin America.
