ANATO’s Vitrina Tur\u00edstica closed its 44th edition<\/a> on a high note, with over 1,500 exhibitors from 46 countries. The event, held from 26 to 28 February in Bogot\u00e1, broke records with a 5% increase in participation over the previous year, bringing the total number of trade visitors to over 52,000. It stood out for the diversity of its offering: training sessions, cultural and gastronomic events, the creation of trade agreements, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this year’s show, national exporters from 20 departments and 179 buyers from 33 countries held more than 3,313 business meetings. At the same time, trade forecasts exceeded 53.4 million dollars, confirming the effectiveness of the event in promoting Colombia internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The countries with the highest sales forecasts were Peru ($5.8 million), Canada ($5.5 million), Paraguay ($4.7 million), Spain ($4.4 million) and the United States ($3.7 million). The strong presence of the Latin American and European markets, followed by the United States, collectively accounted for 87% of the international companies present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018This is an excellent result. But what satisfies us most is that we generated almost 24,000 business appointments at the event, 6% more than those made in 2024\u2019<\/em>, said Paula Cort\u00e9s Calle, Executive President of Anato.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The department of Tolima particularly stood out for its typical dishes and cultural products. All this, combined with the fact that it was one of the most visited stands, resulted in a record number of trade agreements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Tatacoa desert<\/strong> and the San Agust\u00edn archaeological park<\/a><\/strong>, two of the most emblematic sites in the department of Huila, stood out for their sustainable, innovative practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cartagena de Indias<\/strong>, which is part of the World Network of Religious and Spiritual Tourist Destinations, took the opportunity to present the official agenda for Holy Week 2025. It will run from 13 to 20 April, with a programme incorporating culture, art, heritage and gastronomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For its part, Antioquia<\/strong>, with its unique blend of urban and rural experiences, has been able to strengthen strategic alliances and establish itself as an integral destination thanks to its cultural, natural and gastronomic diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
