After reaching an all-time high of over 3 million passengers in 2024<\/strong>, an increase of almost 15%<\/strong> on the previous year\u2014Guatemala is experiencing a tourism boom<\/strong> and continues to gain recognition as a premier travel destination in Central America. In line with this momentum, National Geographic Traveller<\/strong> has announced a special edition dedicated to the country<\/strong>, highlighting its unique cultural, natural, and archaeological treasures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harris Whitbeck<\/strong>, director of the Guatemalan Institute of Tourism (INGUAT<\/mark><\/a>), shared the news on Instagram<\/strong>, unveiling the magazine’s cover. This special issue, to be released alongside the April edition<\/strong>, will include a 36-page guide<\/strong> featuring some of Guatemala\u2019s must-visit destinations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
