After <strong>a record year in 2024 and a 16% increase in the number of seats available<\/strong>, the Spanish airline continues to expand its presence in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More flights, more connectivity&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In preparation for the 2025-2026 winter season, <strong>Iberia will increase its flights to Chile, Peru and the Dominican Republic<\/strong>, offering <strong>more than 355 weekly flights <\/strong>and 2.4 million seats to all its destinations in Latin America<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/en\/santiago-de-chile-the-capital-of-a-thousand-faces\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Santiago de Chile<\/mark><\/a><\/strong> will benefit from two additional flights, bringing the total to <strong>12 per week<\/strong>, an increase of 20% on the previous year. <strong>Lima will see an increase from 13 to 14 weekly flights<\/strong>, carrying around 1,360 passengers a day from Spain. <strong>Santo Domingo <\/strong>will also see an increase, to <strong>13 weekly flights<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Our article: <\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/en\/5-reasons-to-fall-in-love-with-santo-domingo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><em>5 reasons to fall under the spell of Santo Domingo<\/em><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The operational changes introduced last year will remain in place. <strong>Buenos Aires<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/en\/bogota-colombias-energy-at-the-top-of-the-andes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Bogot\u00e1 <\/mark><\/strong><\/a>and <strong>Mexico City <\/strong>will continue to benefit from three daily flights in each direction, for a total of <strong>21 flights a week<\/strong>. With these new routes, Iberia <strong>will offer almost 284,000 seats between Spain and Brazil<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:68px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The expansion of Iberia&#8217;s routes to Latin America not only reflects last year&#8217;s excellent results, but also the growing interest in the region among European travellers.
