Mexico <\/a>breaks a Guinness record and redefines the showcase for Latin American tourism<\/strong>. The 49\u1d49 Tianguis Tur\u00edstico<\/a><\/strong>, held in Baja California, welcomed more than 7,000 professionals in a single day, setting the highest attendance ever recorded at a tourism trade show in Mexico. This spike in participation illustrates the growing international traction of a country that, with 45 million visitors by 2024, already occupies 6\u1d49 place in the world. <\/p>\n\n

“It was the most inclusive, most connected and most economically impactful Tianguis Tur\u00edstico in history<\/em>,” said Mexico’s Secretary of Tourism, Josefina Rodr\u00edguez Zamora<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

As well as being the highest rated event numerically, with a reach of over 64 million unique accounts created, the event was attended by 8,781 people from 46 countries<\/strong>, who did business with nearly 4,000 exhibitors and 1,773 buyers, 69% of whom came from the United States<\/strong> and Canada<\/strong>. Similarly, 71,882 business meetings were held, 50% of which resulted in sales. <\/p>\n\n
