At the southernmost tip of the continent, where the Andes meet the ocean, the 2025\u20132026 cruise season in Tierra del Fuego<\/strong> has officially begun with the arrival of the Ventus Australis<\/em> in Ushuaia<\/strong><\/a>. The Argentine province thus consolidates its role as the gateway to Antarctica and a must-visit stop for major international cruise lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Busy Schedule<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During the previous season, the \u201cend of the world\u201d city recorded 565 port calls<\/strong> from 66 ships<\/strong>, representing more than 250,000 passengers and crew members<\/strong>. For the new cycle, 525 port calls<\/strong> are planned, the majority devoted to polar expeditions<\/strong>\u2014a segment that already attracted more than 105,000 travelers<\/strong> last year. The season runs from September to mid-April<\/strong>, coinciding with the austral spring and summer<\/strong>, when navigation conditions are most favorable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
