The Argentine province thus consolidates its role as the gateway to Antarctica and a must-visit stop for major international cruise lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Busy Schedule<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During the previous season, the \u201cend of the world\u201d city recorded <strong>565 port calls<\/strong> from <strong>66 ships<\/strong>, representing more than <strong>250,000 passengers and crew members<\/strong>. For the new cycle, <strong>525 port calls<\/strong> are planned, the majority devoted to <strong>polar expeditions<\/strong>\u2014a segment that already attracted more than <strong>105,000 travelers<\/strong> last year.
