This initial section, linking <strong>El Naranjo<\/strong> to <strong>Playa El Remanso<\/strong>, marks a major step forward: it shortens travel times and strengthens the connection with <a href=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/en\/p\/costa-rica\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/en\/p\/costa-rica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Costa Rica<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>. In a country where mobility has long constrained development <strong>along the iconic beaches of the southern tourist corridor<\/strong>, this new infrastructure opens a phase that could transform the Pacific coast experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A structuring project for coastal tourism<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The first phase of the highway covers 119 kilometers, from <strong>Masachapa<\/strong> to the <strong>El Naranjo<\/strong> border, with completion expected in May 2026, according to <strong><strong>the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, \u00d3scar Mojica<\/strong><\/strong>. It is part of a broader 335-kilometer project designed to c<strong>onnect the departments of <a href=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/en\/managua-between-volcanoes-and-markets-the-authentic-soul-of-nicaragua\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Managua<\/a>, Carazo<\/strong> and <strong>Rivas<\/strong>.
