The airline will operate two daily flights between the German city and its Spanish hub, with a schedule designed to feed its international network.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The announcement first concerns the German market, where Air Europa already serves Frankfurt and Munich. But it also fits into Madrid\u2019s connection strategy to its 20 direct destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>D\u00fcsseldorf (DUS) \u2194 Madrid (MAD), daily, from 30 November 2026:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Flight UX1446 : <strong>DUS<\/strong> 10:45 \u2013 <strong>MAD<\/strong> 13:30<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flight UX1448 : <strong>DUS<\/strong> 18:50 \u2013 <strong>MAD<\/strong> 21:35<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Flight UX1445 : <strong>MAD<\/strong> 07:05 \u2013 <strong>DUS<\/strong> 09:45<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flight UX1447 : <strong>MAD<\/strong> 15:10 \u2013 <strong>DUS<\/strong> 17:50<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Flights will be operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft. With this new route, Air Europa continues a year of expansion marked by <a href=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/en\/air-europa-to-launch-geneva-madrid-route-from-june-2026-with-connections-to-latin-america\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the launch of Geneva<\/a> and Johannesburg, ahead of the announced <a href=\"https:\/\/visit-latin-america.com\/en\/focus-on-air-transport-news-in-latin-america-july-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">launches to El Salvador and Barranquilla<\/a> at the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>LEVEL adds a fourth frequency between Barcelona and Lima<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flylevel.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LEVEL<\/a><\/strong> will strengthen its direct route between <strong>Barcelona and Lima<\/strong> <strong>from 15 March 2027<\/strong>. The IAG Group long-haul airline will add a weekly flight on Mondays, bringing the route to<strong> four frequencies per week<\/strong>: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This additional frequency will be available until the end of September 2027. The flight will be operated <strong>three times per week<\/strong> with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The airline presents this route as the only non-stop service between western Canada and South America. For S\u00e3o Paulo, it adds direct access from Alberta and strengthens Guarulhos\u2019 role as a connecting hub to the rest of the continent. It adds a new North American market to S\u00e3o Paulo, outside the usual main gateways of Toronto, Montreal and the US hubs.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Arajet will connect Punta Cana with Montevideo<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arajet.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Arajet <\/strong><\/a>will open a new route between <strong>Punta Cana and Montevideo from 3 March 2027<\/strong>. The Dominican airline plans <strong>three weekly frequencies<\/strong>, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, operated with Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This will be <strong>the first direct connection between the Dominican Republic and Uruguay<\/strong>. The route is based on Arajet\u2019s development in Punta Cana and its connecting network to North America, Central America and the Caribbean.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Punta Cana (PUJ) \u2192 Montevideo (MVD), Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, from 3 March 2027:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Flight DM 6564 : <strong>PUJ<\/strong> 20:05 \u2013 <strong>MVD<\/strong> 06:55 (+1)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Montevideo (MVD) \u2192 Punta Cana (PUJ), Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Flight DM 6565 : <strong>MVD<\/strong> 09:26 \u2013 <strong>PUJ<\/strong> 16:40 (+1)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Copa will strengthen its flights between Panama and Porto Alegre<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.copaair.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Copa Airlines<\/strong><\/a> will increase its offer between <strong>Panama City\/Tocumen and Porto Alegre<\/strong> <strong>from 30 December 2026<\/strong>, moving from seven <strong>to eleven weekly frequencies<\/strong> for the months of <strong>January and February 2027<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This reinforcement comes for the austral summer season, a period of strong demand to southern Brazil. The increase to Porto Alegre confirms the gradual recovery of international supply from Rio Grande do Sul.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This month of August shows a contrasting air transport update. Some announcements open new routes, such as Calgary-S\u00e3o Paulo or Punta Cana-Montevideo. Others add capacity on existing routes, such as Barcelona-Lima or Panama-Porto Alegre. Air Europa, for its part, is expanding European access to its Madrid hub.
