Fiesta del Fuego – Santiago de Cuba, Cuba (July 3 to 9)


Officially called the Festival of the Caribbean, this event has celebrated the diversity and richness of Caribbean peoples for over forty years. For one week, Santiago de Cuba becomes a meeting point for representatives from many nations with Afro-Caribbean roots. The program includes parades, religious celebrations, traditional dances, street theater, concerts, and academic forums. For its 44th edition, the guest of honor will be Curaçao, whose culture will be highlighted through numerous activities. The festival ends with the “Quema del Diablo” (Burning of the Devil), a symbolic act meant to cast out evil and welcome the next gathering.

Women’s Copa América – Ecuador (July 12 to August 2)


Ecuador will host the 2025 edition of the Women’s Copa América, the continent’s most prestigious national team tournament in this category. The competition will not only determine the continental champion but also qualification spots for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027, the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games, and the 2027 Pan American Games in Asunción. All ten South American teams will participate, with Quito, Guayaquil, and Cuenca among the cities expected to host the matches.

Mifel Tennis Open by Telcel Oppo – Los Cabos, Mexico (July 15 to 20)


Held in the resort town of Los Cabos, on the Baja California peninsula, the Mifel Tennis Open has established itself over eight years as one of the most attractive ATP 250 tournaments on the circuit. This high-level sporting event brings together some of the world’s top tennis players in a spectacular setting between sea and desert.

For the 2025 edition, several top players have confirmed their participation, including Andrey Rublev (world No. 14), Lorenzo Musetti (No. 7), Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (No. 28), Denis Shapovalov (No. 29), and Jordan Thompson (No. 45), winner of the 2024 edition. Fiesta de la Tirana – Tarapacá Region, Chile (July 16)


In the small village of La Tirana, in the heart of the Atacama Desert, one of northern Chile’s most important religious festivals takes place. Each year, more than 250,000 pilgrims and visitors come to pay tribute to the Virgin of Carmen. Although the main celebration is held on July 16, festivities extend over several days before and after. One of the most impressive features is the participation of more than 200 dance groups, performing ritual choreographies to the rhythm of drums, trumpets, and panpipes. At the crossroads of Catholic and Indigenous influences, La Tirana embodies Chile’s extraordinary cultural and spiritual richness.

Salón del Cacao y Chocolate – Lima, Peru (July 17 to 20)


The Salón del Cacao y Chocolate returns to Lima. As the main event promoting Peruvian cacao—recognized worldwide for its quality and diversity—it brings together over 200 exhibitors: producers, chocolatiers, researchers, and national and international buyers. For four days, visitors can participate in tastings, workshops, technical conferences, culinary demonstrations, and business roundtables.

Guelaguetza – Oaxaca, Mexico (July 21 and 28)


Held on the two Mondays following July 16, the Guelaguetza is one of Mexico’s most important cultural festivals. This Indigenous tradition, whose name means “offering,” brings together communities from the eight regions of the state of Oaxaca to share their music, dances, traditional costumes, languages, and local products. The Cerro del Fortín auditorium is the epicenter of the celebrations, though parallel events such as craft fairs, traditional gastronomy, concerts, exhibitions, and conferences take place throughout the city.

Colombiamoda – Medellín, Colombia (July 29 to 31)

Considered one of the major fashion events in Latin America, Colombia’s fashion week brings together designers, brands, buyers, specialized media, and the general public at Plaza Mayor in Medellín. On the agenda: runway shows by leading national and international fashion houses, academic forums on sustainability, innovation, and responsible consumption, as well as a professional trade fair. Each edition also highlights emerging talent, with a strong emphasis on stories that blend identity, creativity, and social transformation.
