Mi Pueblo Samary

Reminiscent of the old colonial villages of Bolivia, Mi Pueblo “Samary” is a cultural preservation project. It offers an environment in which colonial and mestizo architecture, customs and traditions are valued.

Located 4 blocks from the Main Square, in an old colonial house restored and converted, it resembles a small colonial village that offers its guests a testimony of Bolivian cultural heritage.

Like any village, with its main street where we find our Traditional Bar “La Chichería”, a small square, a church, an irrigation ditch, colorful facades and the passage of people, the Hotel Samary offers an environment that favors a friendly stay.

The Rooms

The rooms are decorated in an ethno chic style with artworks such as Jalk’as and Tarabucos textiles, stone sculptures of Yampara iconography (an ancestral culture).

Gastronomy

We make our own bread in a clay oven that can be enjoyed on the terrace of the bakery accompanied by typical hot drinks. We enjoy the buffet breakfast at the Restaurant “Los Tejados” with a beautiful view of the city and the surrounding mountains.

The Chicheria

The traditional bar “La Chichería” resembles the first popular bars where chicha (a sacred ceremonial drink in the Andes) was made and tasted. Here you can taste chicha and also other excellent traditional liquors. Later, during the Republic, these places became important and elegant for their cultural references.

Nos vêtements mettent en évidence les habits traditionnels et soulignent la beauté des broderies et des dessins des tissus locaux. Au Restaurant “Los Tejados” avec sa superbe vue sur la ville, on déguste petits-déjeuners et repas savoureux.
