Every year, Brazil attracts millions of visitors, enchanted by the diversity of its landscapes and cultures. Now it wants to go one step further: with Feel Brasil, a digital platform run by the Brazilian Tourism Institute (Embratur) and Sebrae (the national support body for micro and small enterprises), the country is showcasing 101 selected experiences in 61 municipalities–70% of which are run by micro or small enterprises, often run by women. The aim is to offer trips that benefit both communities and travellers.
A platform launched at WTM Latin America 2025

Launched at the WTM Latin America 2025 in São Paulo, ‘Feel Brasil’ brings together activities ranging from the beaches of the Nordeste to the safaris of the Pantanal, not forgetting cultural immersion with indigenous or Afro-descendant communities. The site, which is available in six languages (Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, English and German), offers filters by region, state or type of experience; each entry includes a concise description, practical advice and short videos.

Empowerment and local development
Empowerment and local developmentBy linking travellers, agencies and international operators with tours created by local people, ‘Feel Brasil’ is diversifying the tourism offering and generating jobs in areas that have long remained isolated from the major tourist flows. This approach strengthens the local economy while promoting local know-how.
Sustainability at the heart of the project
The programme is part of a wider ESG strategy: Brazil has 14 destinations ranked in Green Destinations’ ‘TOP 100 Stories’ (2024). Embratur has also adopted carbon offsetting measures and supports initiatives to preserve biodiversity, confirming its desire to combine tourism and responsibility.
Towards a new tourism standard

Towards a new tourism standardWhether it’s diving in an artificial wreck park off the coast of Recife or gazing up at the starry night sky in the Chapada dos Veadeiros, ‘Feel Brasil’ offers a map that redefines the way people travel. By placing authenticity, sustainability and inclusion at the heart of its approach, Brazil aims to establish a model for destinations seeking to balance economic development, cultural preservation and environmental protection.
To find out about all the experiences available, simply visit the ‘Feel Brasil’ platform and select the adventure that suits you best-the first step towards a trip that is as enriching for the visitor as it is for the host community.
