Air Europa continues to expand its flight network in Latin America with a series of announcements aimed at strengthening its presence in the region. The Spanish airline has announced an increase in flights from Madrid to several cities, reflecting renewed optimism about the prospects for international tourism in 2025.
Extended routes to Argentina and Brazil
An important development for the company is the enhancement of its service to Argentina, in particular with a reinforced offer between Madrid and Córdoba. From June 24, 2025, frequency will increase from three to four weekly flights, representing a 33% increase in capacity, with 2,664 seats available per week. This increase is made possible by the addition of new Boeing 787-9 aircraft to the fleet. The Buenos Aires-Madrid route will retain its seven weekly flights.

In addition, on routes to Brazil, additional flights on the Madrid-Salvador de Bahía route will start on June 21, increasing the number of flights from three to four per week. Operated by Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 aircraft, these flights will improve connectivity between Europe and Bahia, complementing the services offered by TAP Air Portugal and Air France.

Strengthening connectivity with Latin America
Other strategic destinations will see their frequency increased from June 2025:
- Medellín (MDE ): One daily flight from June 17, compared with the current six flights a week.
- Panamá (PTY): Increase to one flight a day from June 14.
- Ecuador: Air Europa is now splitting its service into two separate routes: Madrid-Quito (UIO) and Madrid-Guayaquil (GYE), with three flights a week each. Previously, these flights were combined in a triangular itinerary between the two cities.
- Asunción (ASU): From June 24, the Paraguayan capital will also benefit from a daily flight.
