New routes between Central America, the United States, and Canada
San Francisco (USA) – San José (Costa Rica):
Since May 23, United Airlines has been operating a daily direct flight between Juan Santamaría International Airport and San Francisco, using Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with a capacity of 166 passengers.

Avianca is significantly expanding its presence in the region with direct flights from San José (Costa Rica) and Guatemala City to Miami.

American Airlines will offer two daily flights from December 18 to January 6 from Chicago.

In June, Air Europa will increase the frequency of its flights between Madrid and Santiago de los Caballeros from two to four per week. Initially, the flight will operate only on Saturdays, with a Thursday flight added starting June 26.
