With more than nine years of experience in the sector, leading the management and direction of sectoral projects aimed at strengthening public-private partnerships, Jessica Arévalo Alzate was elected by the Board of Directors of the Colombian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (ANATO) as Executive Director.


Jessica Arévalo is a business administrator with a master’s degree in innovation. She has held the position of Deputy Director of Projects, from which she has developed diagnoses in search of opportunities to generate transformation strategies that contribute to the growth of the sector.

She also participated in the creation of the Inbound Tourism Committee and led the formulation and implementation of competitiveness projects such as the Anato National Congress of Travel Agencies and Tourism, the National Inbound Tourism Meeting, international fairs, sectoral quality standards certifications, among others. Jessica Arévalo has also developed promotional projects such as business conferences, familiarisation trips and strategic communication plans.

“We are sure that her arrival will give a greater positioning to the Association, as a fundamental entity for the consolidation of tourism in our country before public and private entities of national and regional order. We are convinced that his career, hand in hand with the travel agencies, will be an important support for the strengthening of the sector”, says Paula Cortés Calle, executive president of ANATO.
