Our Hotel – Our story begins with the crazy initiative of a great visionary, a man, Don Juan Quesada Valda, pioneer of organized tourism in the south of the country, who decided in 1998 to create a salt hotel. And precisely, this innovative and creative idea of building a 100% salt hotel, that is, walls, ceilings, tables, chairs and other accessories, was realized in what he called “Palacio de Sal”, a suigeneris hotel, unique and special architecture, whose purpose was to provide visitors who came from the salt a magical place to find balance with nature and enjoy a pleasant and unforgettable rest that remains in the memories.
In 2004, the hotel was moved to the banks of the salt flats, with the aim of offering tourists the comfort and convenience they need. Since then, exoticism, modernity and indigenous traditions have harmoniously combined to create, in more than 4,500 square meters, the first salt hotel in the world. An unusual and unique space that everyone who visits falls in love with. It transforms your visit into a magical experience.

TOURS – We offer short excursions to the shores of the Salar de Uyuni, where you can enjoy a hot drink and snacks while enjoying the best sunsets and starry nights.
