Boliventura is preparing to welcome you back to the Salar de Uyuni, putting the safety of our customers first.

The Salar is huge and helps maintain social distance, easily avoiding contact with other groups; however, all necessary measures will be taken so that you can enjoy your visit:

  1. 1. Information brochures on preventive measures against Covid-19 will be made available in transport and in digital version.
    • (Use of masks, hand washing, use of alcohol gel, social distancing)
  2. Protocol to follow in case of suspected infection with Covid-19:
    • a. Pre-assistance
    • b. Timely information to all parties concerned
    • c. Evacuation and isolation
    • d. Assistance in the event of a positive result, during and after the required treatment.

All our staff are trained to assist and execute all protocols and emergency plans.
Guides and drivers will be provided with biosecurity protection equipment (masks, chin rests, alcohol gel)

Transport will be cleaned and disinfected according to protocols established by the Ministry of Health (steam or UV disinfection according to UNWTO recommendations)

A maximum of three passengers will be allowed in each 4×4 vehicle, although the cost increases, passenger safety must be a priority.

We will adapt the food, avoiding raw food.
Prevention kit during travel (remote thermometer, oximeter, oxygen, gel alcohol, chin straps and latex gloves).
