The recovery in passenger demand and the incorporation of new aircraft into the airline’s fleet will allow Air Europa to gradually resume its flight frequency to its destinations in the Americas.

Starting this June, the airline will operate daily flights to Lima, as it currently does to Santo Domingo, Buenos Aires, Bogota and Sao Paulo, and will increase to six weekly frequencies the flights to Cordoba and Asuncion. The increase in frequencies is also reflected in Quito and Guayaquil, where a total of five flights per week will be operated from next July, and four flights per week to Cancun, Panama, Medellin, Santa Cruz de la Sierra and Montevideo.

In addition to these destinations, Air Europa also operates with its Dreamliner fleet to Punta Cana, Havana, San Pedro Sula and Caracas.

This increase in supply will enable us to return to and even exceed pre-Coronavirus capacity levels during the course of this year. To this end, and as part of the new stage of growth and expansion in which Air Europa finds itself after completing its transformation process, eleven new aircraft will be incorporated throughout this year, including five long-haul Boeing 787 Dreamliners, with which the unification and consolidation of the fleet will be reinforced. This year, Air Europa will have recovered all its routes to the Americas from its strategic hub in Madrid Barajas.

By the end of 2022, a total of 23 destinations will be reached, to which 33 more destinations in Spain and Europe will be added, while the seats offered for the second half of the year will be 5% higher than those available in 2019.
