Emirates is resuming its service between Dubai, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro, suspended due to the pandemic, with four flights per week. The airline is strengthening its Latin American network by adding a second destination in Brazil after Sao Paulo, but also by adding a direct route between Brazil and the Argentine capital.

The flight is operated by a Boeing 777 four times a week. Departing Dubai at 8.05am, it first lands in Rio de Janeiro at 3.25pm, from where it departs at 5.10pm for Buenos Aires, landing at 8.40pm. The return flight leaves Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires at 22:20 and arrives in Rio de Janeiro at 01:30 the following day. It continues to Dubai at 02:55 and arrives at the airline’s hub at 23:35. Tickets can be booked on the Emirates website and app or at agencies.

Emirates also operates a daily flight between Dubai and Sao Paulo in Brazil. Customers travelling in premium class, as well as selected Skywards members, can take advantage of the airline’s lounge at Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo airports, as well as several lounges and chauffeured transfer services to and from Dubai airport.

With the resumption of services to Argentina, which were first launched in 2012, Emirates has restored more than 90% of its pre-pandemic network, comprising more than 130 destinations.
